Micro Graft Hair Transplant
Micro Grafts are the ultimate in surgically transplanted hair. This is one to two follicles of a patients own hair that is transplanted from an area of denser growth to an area lacking hair growth. The number of grafts available depends on two things: how large is the hair loss area and how dense is the growth of the existing growing hair. With a large area of hair loss the individual of course would have less area where donor hair could be extracted. Where the donor hair is collected we now create a thinner area of hair.
Mini Graft Hair Transplant
Mini Grafts are a little bigger than micro grafts with two to three follicles in skin tissue that is transplanted from an area with denser growth to an area lacking hair growth. Unfortunately, new hair doesn’t naturally appear where the hair follicles were taken and that area becomes thinner. So, consideration must be used in accounting for the end result! Surgical solutions are great but not always so great when too much area needs to be filled in.
